How to choose a floor finish/stripper system:

Select products that do not contain carcinogens or reproductive toxins

Select floor finishes free of zinc or other materials

Avoid purchasing products that constain ammonia, ammonium hydroxide, or ammonium salts

Select products that do not contain dibutyl phthalate or alky;phenol ethoxylates

Choose finish products with a VOC concentration of no more than 7% by weight and floor strippers with no more than 7% VOCs when diluted for use as directed

Select products with a pH no greater than 11.5 and a flash point above 150 degrees F

Choose products in recyclable or refillable containers
